Victoria Police Legacy is governed by a board of directors, who are responsible for directing, influencing, and monitoring the organisation’s business.
Today, Victoria Police Legacy supports over 1,500 police legatees across Victoria including spouses/partners, parents and dependent children who have lost a loved one, including serving and retired sworn members of Victoria Police, Protective Services Officers and recruits in training. Our police legatees, aged from 6 months to 99 years, receive meaningful lifelong support services throughout all stages of their lives.

Our income is primarily derived from the extremely generous financial support of the many thousands of sworn and former members of Victoria Police ranging from the newest recruit to the Chief Commissioner, without whom much of the high quality support and services would not be possible.

Our volunteers help in a variety of ways ranging from driving buses on our trips away, to helping with graphic design, to making regular telephone contact with our most vulnerable police legatees. No matter how small the task, our volunteers help connect our community and make a real difference to the lives of those we care for.
